Welcome to Davis Farms, home of the Lazy J5 Dexter cattle herd. We are dedicated to the production of high quality, dual purpose, polled Dexter cattle with excellent dispositions. All of our breeding stock has been dna tested non-carrier for the chondrodysplasia (bulldog) gene. Because we raise Dexter steers for beef and milk Dexter cows, we strive to breed cattle that suit both of these needs. These unique little cows are the perfect breed for our small farm. We love our Dexters because they ~ Produce high quality beef and milk on less feed ~ Are hardy, adaptable and long lived ~ Are small and easy to handle ~ Are good mothers with calving ease ~ Are excellent first calf heifer bulls for larger breeds ~ Are full of charm and character Visitors Always Welcome!
